New lilith album, EveryDejaVu TV is back, PIECES vol. iii
The label is in full motion: we have a new release out, we're livestreaming, we're throwing events. KEEP UP!
I met lilith at ximena’s birthday party show a year ago. I went to see ximena (Boston-based electronic producer who, similarly to me, moved from South Florida to Boston a few years ago) perform because if you’ve been to a ximena show, you know you have to go to another one. Tucked away in an upstairs office building venue in downtown, it truly was a birthday party with pizza, cookies, and drinks. And also surprises: the first performer blew us away. The artist we now know as lilith channeled confidence at the table with all the different music gear on stage, bouncing energetically to high-paced electronic beats that was riddled with hip-hop sampling influence. It was fun and captivating, and I was instantly a fan. Similarly to how I felt about ximena, I needed to go to another lilith show. I’d later see them open and perform alongside Chaiah at Exit Galleries, and then open up for Exile at a beat show at Union Tavern. Anyway, all that led to us releasing lilith’s latest album, May Every Shape Hold, which came out last Friday on Valentine’s Day. It’s also probably the reason we’re having Chaiah and lilith at the next PIECES event tomorrow.
OUT NOW: May Every Shape Hold by lilith
May Every Shape Hold is a hip-hop & electronic album that is a study on the crucial interplay between self-awareness and the connections that define us. With themes of vulnerability, longing, and identity woven throughout, it's designed to evoke the quiet introspection of a solitary drive through the instrumentals. “Feel it out. Feel love, feel promiscuous, feel the shivers down your spine whether it’s contrived from fear of intimacy or contact with another’s skin,” lilith urges.
Merging their signature, “sono-electrochemistry,” with heartfelt reflection, lilith has crafted an auditory experience perfect for those who love to feel deeply and cherish their community. Complete with a fully realized visual novel created in collaboration with their network of artist friends, a visualizer, upcoming music videos and more, lilith has brought their album to life.
As mentioned above, accompanying their album is a visual novel in the form of an online dating simulator, which was created by lilith and their team of friends, Wen, Entifan, Yuviko, Ant, and Elfie. You can play it here.

PIECES vol. iii @ Lizard Lounge, Feb 19
featuring Chaiah, Mingko, Dear Dea, and LAVAGXRL + DJ sets by lilith
Massachusetts folks, COME THROUGH TOMORROW!!! Really excited for this one! We started PIECES last May as a recurring event series that would highlight artists we find special, whether that’s local artists, touring artists, artists from our label roster, etc. The third installment of PIECES features four artists from our roster, as we couldn’t pass up Dear Dea visiting from Finland. LAVAGXRL returns with electronic and ambient adjacent sounds to the PIECES lineup after performing at the first one. Mingko brings their fun blend of indie rock meets math rock guitars, and Chaiah is celebrating the beautifully jazzy, soulful release of her debut album, Control Release, as our headliner. lilith will be setting the tone for the night with a DJ set as doors open, as well as in between sets.
Grab your tickets for $15 now, or grab them for $20 day-of.
